Solution

The Methodology provides a mapping tool to identify regulatory weaknesses and gaps. This can serve as basis to reform national legislation with a view to strengthen AMR-related governance.

Impact

The Methodology has been successfully applied in 22 countries and one regional organization. It has been well accepted globally and will soon be upgraded in the framework of the Tripartite to integrate the human health sector.
